TTC - Port Augusta Secondary School Campus
A consortium of schools successfully applied for funding to become a multi campus training centre.
Named after the Pichi Richi Pass linking Port Augusta to Quorn, the name reflects the aim to strengthen access to training to regional students.
Each campus within the consortium specialises in different trade areas, with students having the opportunity to apply for courses being run at other sites under the guidance of school administration and SACE coordinators.
Port Augusta Secondary School specialises in:
- Electro technology
Students work towards the completion of taster programs leading to national competencies being delivered and assessed at Port Augusta Secondary School or in partnership with a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO).
Students working in the TTC will develop skills and knowledge that will assist them in transitioning at school into School Based Apprenticeship or post school moving into apprenticeship or employment.
