Mrs Macdonalds year 9 art class were given the opportunity to produce a new banister design for the Lions Club of Port Augusta. The design had to showcase Port Augusta’s indigenous culture, maritime history, railway history or it’s unique location. 12 students entered their designs into the competition, which included Zara, Ronan, Luke, Lenny, Josh, Havana, Emily, Ella, Cody, Kelis, Laila and Shayleigh. Kelis and Laila were finalists in the top 3 designs and Shayleigh took out first place winning a $50 prize. All students were presented with a participation, finalist or winner certificate. Well done to all involved.
